What we love…
- Winemaker and connoisseur Vincent Delages set out to create a small place where people could gather to experience rare, and small production wines, paired a classic French menu of foie gras, salmon tartare, and organic vegetables.
- The Four Times Five, or 4X5, is just that. A wine bar and restaurant with good food, and even better wine. The owner will hand select from his vast array of wines the perfect pairing for your meal, and of course will be happy to explain the history of the wine, and the environment in which it was produced.
- The venue also sells wine by the bottle so if you taste something you simply must have, you'll be able to purchase it and take it home with you.
- The unpretentious setting is casual and warm with about 30 seats in the entire venue. The pricing of both the menu and the wine are very affordable (around €11-14 for a pairing) making this place an easy choice for lunch or dinner just about any day of the week.
