What we love…

• Have you how thought to yourself 'I need a bread knife that looks like an alligator!' Or a pen that looks like a lit cigarette? Or perhaps your windshield scrapper is just to boring and you'd prefer to to remove the ice from you car with something that looks like a penguin?
• Okay, neither have we. But sometimes you don't know you need something until you see it and fall in love with the sheer ridiculousness of it. That is pretty much everything at Pylones. 
• This company hails from France and that is where all of the design is done. The team looks for inspiration in odd places and strives to make everyday items in crazy prints, bright colors, and strange shapes. 
• Most of the merchandise is small home interior pieces (kitchen, office, gardening and some beauty accessories), all playfully colored and given human or animal characteristics to take them from drab to kitsch. 
• Although this isn't typically our style of decorating, there's always a piece or two that will make the perfect gift for someone we know. Nothing is too expensive so you won't feel guilty buying that gag gift for your best friend who just adores odd kitchen supplies. And come on, you know she'll surly need that dishbrush that looks like a punkrocker.
