• Hobbs London is the opposite of trendy streetwear—no neon colors, sans rips, and not a pointy stud in sight. However, if you're into looking polished and pulled together in contemporary girly attire, Hobbs London will have everything you need.
• The brand designs three collections that cover various situations. Hobbs London for your everyday workwear needs—think easy 3/4 sleeve dresses that flatter every shape, delicate silk blouses, and the perfect trench coat. Hobbs Invitation takes care of those 'special' occasions, a wedding (not yours, of course), a graduation, a work Christmas party etc…. Hobbs Invitation features more dressed up fashions for an evening out, and has a line of accessories that sparkle to highlight your look. And finally NW3 is where you'll find slightly younger, casual pieces, that will keep you looking fresh and lovely on your holidays and weekends.
• Each of the collections works together to create an entire wardrobe, and they all manage to maintain the overall feminine Hobbs feel. Nothing we saw was over £200 (and usually closer to the £100-150 range) so you can easily stock up at the beginning of the season without feeling guilty.
• Hobbs started as a shoe line in 1981, and because of the brands acute attention to detail the quality Italian shoes became well known by London ladies looking for well-made, budget friendly shoes. The shoe collections is still one of the highlights at Hobbs today, and during sale season when shoes are marked down to next to nothing, you'll see ladies lose their cool trying to snatch up the perfect black pump or sensible ballet flat.
• There are many locations littered around London so you won't have to hunt this shop down, you're bound to happen across a few on your travels. The Flagship is the Covent Garden shop, so if you're only in town briefly head to that neighborhood to get your Hobbs fill.
