What we love…

• Guys-guys and manly-men know that Carhartt is tough, made to last, and is the kind of brand you wear to lift heavy stuff. Or if you just wanna look bad ass while you're watching TV.
• Born in Detroit during the industrial revolution in the late 1800's, Carhartt was started to provide the quintessential hard working threads to the blue collar worker who needed clothing that could withstand the wear and tear of their dirty industry jobs.
• These union made clothes were constructed from durable materials like 12 Oz denim, and they had quality details like triple stitched seams, cooper riviets and reinforced button holes, making them almost indestructible.
• Later Carhartt made it's way to Asia and Europe, and along the way made its mark on different groups, influencing subcultures like 80's graffiti artists, punk rockers, and hipsters alike.
• With slogans like "honest value for an honest dollar," and the oh so classic "function over form" the brand never set out to position itself as a fashion brand. However, with the subculture love the brand has always received they now cater to their streetwear clientele. As a result much of the apparel you'll find today is a pretty even balance of form and function, and you're just as likely find Carhartt in the closet of men who's hands have never seen a day of hard work as you are on a hardcore skater. 
• Either way, work or no work (we prefer the latter) we still love the look, quality, and their push to keep their clothing union made.
