What we love…

• Forget minimalism, beading, embroidery, gold, ruffles, and more—Monoush is over-the-top in every way.
• A blend exotic fabrics, styles and finishes fuse to create a design hodgepodge of color and texture. Some outfits are styled as though they are straight off the runway in Marrakech, but once you peel back a few of the layers individual pieces have a strong voice and a unique look that would spice up any wardrobe. 
• Some might say the clothing at Monoush is akin to modern bohemian gypsy-wear—which would be okay by the designer since the company name speaks to her childhood nickname, which means Gypsy like in French. 
• Pieces aren't cheap, but you can snap up the product of the season that sends a portion of the proceeds back to Morocco for the charities the designer supports. One is an animal rescue and the other is a fair trade workshop for women. Since a lot of the products are also made in these workshops you can feel as good as you look.
