• There is little more grande than seeing an opera in this opulent building. 
• This heavily ornate structure boasts beautiful ceiling murals, giant chandeliers, winding staircases, and 1900 seats—truly a fantastic example of 19th century architecture at its best.
• If you don't have time to take in a show you can still check out the stunning decor in the main hall between 11 am-4 pm.

• The independent theatrical art of classical ballet was formed within these walls in the late 1600's.
