The Quality Mending Co.

What we love…

  • Oliver Harkness, a long time vintage collector born in London, brought his steller eye for vintage menswear to New York's Nolita neighborhood more than 10 years ago. Today the Quality Mending Co. is still one of the best places to find great vintage pieces, and score some pretty fantastic denims.
  • The brand also does their own line of workwear denims that are all inspired by the classic Levi's single stitch 505's. This denim line is works with seriously choice vintage pieces from the USA and Europe, making it the perfect place for stylish guys to build an entire casual wardrobe.
  • Sweet vintage tee's, plaid button-downs, denim and leather jackets are all on offer. Of course you'll also find plenty of canvas duffel bags, leather boots and Doc Martins on display.
  • When the community is in distress (such as during Hurricane Sandy)  this place likes to give back by donating the proceeds of certain merchandise to the relief efforts—making us love them all the more. Don't you just love when companies use their fashion super powers for good?
