What we love…

• C. Wonder proves not everything in New York is somber and serious. This store is like walking into a real life Dr. Seuss book; lime green walls, a life size ceramic zebra painted in rainbow colors, and rugs with bold graphic prints. The decor isn't the only colorful thing at C. Wonder either, the entire collection of classic womenswear (think fitted button-downs, slim pants and crew neck sweaters) is in playfully candy colors and whimsical prints.
• Jewelry, bags, and shoes are one of the main draws to C. Wonder, who won the Accessories Council Excellence Award for Specialty Retailer of the Year in 2012. Just like the rest of the merchandise you'll find bracelets, necklaces, totes, and ballet flats in glorious colors, often adorned with gold monograms. It helps that the entire staff looks pulled together and chic, dripping in bangles and necklaces from the shop. On a regular basis they also give away trinkets and treats such as earrings and lemonades, a nice change from your typical department store scenery.
• C. Wonder is a lifestyle line so among the womenswear you'll find decor items such as golden tea sets, chevron throws, and lacquered jewelry boxes to brighten your home. If you're looking for a gift C. Wonder has knickknacks that will delight pretty much anyone.
• You won't be surprised to hear the concept for C. Wonder comes from Chris Burch, Tory Burch's ex-husband. Much of the product line and styling looks very similar to Tory's line, however at C. Wonder the price point is around half the price. Sure the quality isn't as good as Tory Burch, but because everything at C. Wonder is so affordably priced when you get the urge to replace every black shirt you own with something more colorful you won't go broke.
