Goldsmith Vintage

What we love…

  • This shop might look like it's been a neighborhood fixture forever, but this little gem located near the end of the Portobello Market has really only just started it's sure to be long history in Notting Hill.
  • The shop originated in a Brick Lane stall, like many of the great vintage shops in London. They have a range of unique vintage pieces from the 60's right up to the late 80's, that appeal to fashion-forward hipsters and style conscious youth with an eye for quality vintage. Inside the shop is a bit dark at least compared to the bright merchandise, but that just adds to the thrill of the hunt. Prices are decent making it all too easy to stock up on £15 vintage dead stock sunglasses (or sunnies as the Londoners call them), great leather boots, and retro tops and dresses.
  • The team at Goldsmith Vintage also does a collection of re-work vintage pieces where they mashing together old, and slightly older looks to create fun new coats and shorts. It's easy to see why Goldsmith Vintage was one of the most popular booths at the Truman Brewery market, choice fashion, at reasonable price are tough to pass up.
