What we love…
- The white shirt has always been a classic staple for every Parisian woman, but here the array of decorative stand-alone collars take the classic shirt to a whole new level.
- Since 1993 designer Anne Fontaine has built her business on the idea that, as with men's fashion, a classic white shirt should always be an intricate part of a woman's closet. To keep her look fresh the designer has created interchangeable collars that can be worn a number of ways—taking that same shirt from basic to striking.
- Fontaine is known for her quality craftsmanship and fabrications. She prefers to use Peruvian cotton and local crafts people who are skilled in embroidery and lace application in place of mass market production, giving her collections that 'je ne sais quoi' Parisian designers are known for.
- The collection now stretches beyond the basic white shirt and collar to include a range of other colors as well as separates such as dresses, skirts, and accessories, however the shirt still remains the core of the collection.
