What we love…

• In-the-know locals looking for quality Lebanese food at decent prices flock to Yalla Yalla's tiny little eatery tucked away on the quiet Green's Court in Soho. Although there are more than a few restaurant choices in the area, Yalla Yalla's is offers something different and unique. The food here is flavorful, spiced just right in hearty sizes, giving you a real taste of what Middle Eastern food is all about in an charming and modern setting.  
• 'Yalla' in Arabic means hurry, so you would assume this is a strictly take-out affair. Apart from a few wrap sandwiches at the counter, Yalla Yalla isn't really fast-food—although the food is delivered pretty fast. This small sit down affair that Middle Eastern food lovers line up for, so be prepared to wait if you're going during the lunch rush.
• Start with hot and cold mezza dishes to whet your appetite for the main event. An assortment small plates such as pickles, peppers, and olives sit along side delicious Middle Eastern dips like smoky baba ghannoush topped with tangy pomegranate seeds, crisp falafel, and garlicky hummous served with warmed pita bread. Don't miss the 'halloum' a favorite Lebanese fried cheese dish that makes a perfect complement to the creamy dips. The lamb shawarma wrap and the 'sambousek lahme​' (puff pastry stuffed with spiced lamb stuffed onion and pine nuts) are some of the most popular items on the menu for their authentic flavors, although just about everything on the menu will delight.
• If the restaurant is bumping and you can't score a table head to the counter and grab one of their take-out wraps to-go. They're much better than your standard coffee shop sandwich and around the same price.
• Yalla Yalla's has recently won the hearts (and stomachs) of so many Londoner's they've opened up a pop-up shop in Shoreditch to accommodate their East End fans (yay!), hopefully that pop up will become permanent fixture in our favorite neighborhood.
